You are Powerful

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

Even when you don’t look powerful, you are powerful in Christ. You may look timid and sound soft-spoken, but on the inside the Lion of Judah can be roaring loud and strong within you!  It doesn’t matter your economic status, ethnicity, or your background, you are powerful in Christ!  And even if you are standing against thousands that oppose everything you believe in, you and God represent the majority. The Lord being on your side makes you a mighty force to be reckoned with. Greater is He that is in you than he that’s in the world. Walk in the power of God and do the work He has preordained for you to do. Don’t let sin turn you into a coward. You are forgiven and redeemed by the blood of Jesus.  Hold your head up!  Shoulders back!  Chest out!  Walk as though you never sinned a day in your life, because that’s how God sees you. God is your power source, so stay vitally connected to Him.  More now than ever, draw everything you need from your relationship with the Lord.  You are powerful and He has given you the victory through Christ!

Prayer: Father God, You are our God and we are Yours.  We receive Your power and might so that we can fulfill Your divine purpose in the earth. No matter the softness of our voice or the size of our frame, You have empowered us. Help us walk in the power You have given us through Christ. Help us also to demonstrate how powerful You are by our ability to walk in love and a spirit of unity. Be glorified in and through us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
