You better thank God!

“Of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!” Psalms 103:1, ESV

Shortly after God had blessed me with a great breakthrough in a certain area, the enemy reminded me of other things he thought I needed to worry about. He doesn’t like to see anyone happy. And for a moment I took my attention away from celebrating the previous victory and began worrying all over again over some new problem. I had to tell myself, “No! That’s the enemy trying to spoil my praise party over what God has just done for me! Girl, you better thank God!” So I did! I told the enemy to shut up, and I began to thank and praise God for the victory He had given me.

I’m going to tell you the same thing my sister by the Spirit of God! If God has done anything for you, don’t let the enemy spoil your praise party over what God has done! Girl, you better thank God! Tell the devil to shut up in your ear and begin to thank and praise God for the victory He’s given you in Jesus Christ. Thank Him that you’ve been purchased by the blood of Jesus. Thank Him that you are God’s daughter and you no longer belong to the enemy. Thank Him that you have life and life more abundantly.

You may have a million things you want to be concerned about, but one big victory to thank God for. Forget the million problems and focus on praising God for the one. When you do that in faith, God goes before you and takes care of the million things.

My sister and friend…

You better thank God!

Prayer: Thank You Lord for your joy and the victory you’ve given me in Jesus. I thank and praise you for everything you are to me, everything you’ve done for me, and all you’re doing behind the scenes. I choose not to let the enemy spoil my praise party. I command him to shut up in my ear. I’m determined to praise you and give you the glory you so deserve! Thank you Lord! You are good and I am blessed. Love, Your daughter.
