You were designed to reach women…

“This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth” 1 John 1:5-6, New American Standard Bible.

My sister, you were designed to reach women, not to sleep with them. The arms of a woman were designed to pull you up from your lowest place, help you along your way, and hug you when you need comfort, but never to be a lover’s embrace for you. For some, they have suffered much, and have been abused at the hands of a man that were supposed to help protect them. They longed for affection, and the enemy turned a pure desire for love into a perverted pursuit. Then there are those whose desire didn’t come from an abusive past or a life void of love and affection; they simply wanted her.

What do you do when you want what God hates? How do you reach inside yourself and turn that desire off? You can’t do anything in your own power or strength. It is God Who works in us the will and to do of His good pleasure. In the beginning the earth was void, and darkness covered the face of the deep, but God spoke saying, “Let there be light!” and there was light that dispelled all darkness. Jesus is powerful Light that dispels all darkness in our lives. When you give Him real access into your heart, He will flood your heart with His love and His light. You will begin to see Him as He is, see yourself as He sees you, and you will see the enemy for the deceiver he is.

The enemy wants you to stay bound so that you can not do the works God designed you to do. But today is your day to be free through Jesus if you so choose. His mercy and grace covers every area of our lives, not to conceal, but to free us from within, so we can live out His true design for our lives.

Prayer: Father God, it’s no secret to You what my inner struggles are. I am helpless, and I need You like I’ve never needed You before. Forgive me for every sin I’ve committed. Change my heart. Change my desires. Change my life. Flood me with Your light and remove even the memory of sinful pleasure, remove the taste from my mouth. I denounce the spirit of lust and sexual perversion, and I yield my spirit, soul, and body to You and You alone. Consecrate me, God. Wash me and purify me. Be glorified in my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
