Your Sacrifice, Your Supply

“But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:18-19 (KJV)

Now is not the time to spectate, but sacrifice. Partner with a ministry. Resist pressure, do what you can and do not withhold your giving. Your church needs you. Global ministries need you. There are good works that need you. You are contributing to the salvation of others and how pleasing it is to the Father. There is nothing better we could do with our money. God is unlimited in supplying all of your needs.

Just as there is more than one door to enter a house, God has more than one way to get provision to you. Your employment is only one way. He can come through the back door with it. He can come through the roof with it! He will lead you to it! He will lead someone to you! He will cause you to abound right along with the good work you financially support. He will not leave you out in the cold. His love is always in action and ours must be the same. He will meet all of your needs and leave nothing out. Your giving is the key to your supply.

Prayer: Father, I will not spectate, but sacrifice, even in these times. I will do wonderful, good works with my giving. I will give as You lead me, and I will not be dictated by this world’s economy. I will not allow pressure and fear to make me selfish. I love You and I love Your people. I am Your daughter and I support my Father’s work. Use me as a supply to others. As a result, God will use others as a supply to me. I will partner with a ministry. We all will abound to the glory of God! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
